> CookieChimp assesses its visitor-facing consent banner, embedded preferences modal and privacy portal against WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA.

Canonical page: https://cookiechimp.com/accessibility

## Assessment scope

The assessment covers the consent banner, embedded preferences modal, and privacy portal and vendor-list embed used on customer websites. It excludes the administration application, authentication screens and general marketing website.

The vendor self-assessment confirms support for all applicable WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA criteria in the assessed built-in configurations, following CookieChimp confirmation of completed human verification. It includes criterion-by-criterion ratings, browser keyboard checks, accessibility-tree inspection and automated scans. Arbitrary customer-selected palettes and the surrounding website require a separate review. Use it alongside the configuration guidance below to review your branding and website integration.

## Consent controls

Preferences support keyboard-operated disclosures, named consent switches, Tab and Shift+Tab navigation across the iframe boundary, and Escape to close. The floating preferences trigger is a named button. Cookie information is available as text and through keyboard-accessible tooltips. Blank titles and custom logos retain an accessible dialog name.

## Customer responsibilities

Check text and control contrast after choosing a palette. Use clear, consistent control labels and review translations. Test zoom, text spacing, mobile layouts and fixed page elements on your own website. If you disable the floating preferences control, provide an accessible replacement using the documented preferences trigger.
